Sutra5 learning guide
What is face reading, and what are its limits?
Face reading assigns symbolic meanings to visible facial features and proportions. It should not be treated as proof of character, ability, health, or a person’s future.
What is the historical context?
Physiognomy historically attempted to assess mental character from physical attributes. The National Library of Medicine examines this history and its influence on technologies that interpret body data. Historical use alone does not establish reliability.
What can a photo tell me?
A photo shows an appearance under particular lighting, framing, and expression. Keep any symbolic reading separate from factual judgments about the person. Do not use it to make decisions about another person’s trustworthiness or opportunities.
Can I choose not to include it?
Yes. In Sutra5, you choose whether to add a face photo. Upload processing requires consent, and including the face-reading lens requires a separate opt-in at checkout.
An example
A serious expression in one photo may reflect the moment it was taken. It is not evidence that the person has a fixed personality trait.
How this fits into Sutra5
The face-reading lens is offered for reflection with your consent. You can create a Life Map with the required palm photo without adding face reading.
